Earlier this month the Dallas Central Appraisal District mailed the appraised value notices to all homeowners in Dallas County.
However, if a home's value was not changed, then the appraisal district does NOT send a notice. A change in appraised value is not required for those of you who want to reduce your property taxes.
ALL Dallas County homeowners have the right to protest property taxes.
We always encourage all homeowners to appeal property taxes each year regardless of prior year value.
